Dear Mr Martin, we saw your painting in the Alex Ruff 2021 calendar for the month of December. It is titled Lake Charles Oil on Stretched Canvas. I looked through your gallery and I believe the painting is no. 51 and titled Grandpa's ice rink. We believe you have painted our barn. We live at 462581 Concession 24 across from the conservation area on Lake Charles on what is known around these parts as the Lobban farm. We were wondering if we are correct that you depicted the old Lobban barn and when you had done this painting? Also did you take artistic license and add the ice rink or did the Lobban's make a rink in front of the barn?
Regards,
Ed and Clare Matthews
