"Noel and I are always driving around the countryside looking for unique subject matters for our paintings. This particular water lily graced the pond at the Saugeen First Nations Amphitheatre just outside of Southampton. We always carry our cameras with us for those occasions when we don't have sufficient time for plein air painting. Through these off the beaten path opportunities, we are able to artistically record the marvellous scenery the Grey/Bruce area provides."
