Adventures of four Earth Artists in Rome

After having been absent for a while, with many things happening over the summer months taking us away from our creativity and paint brushes, we're now back and eager to start again.

We eagerly anticipate sharing with everyone our trip to Italy with our good friends Eleanor and James. Scheduled to be in Italy in April, but postponed because of volcanic activity in Iceland, until October, we got as far as sitting on the plane, the last one to fly to Rome before it was closed, when we were requested to disembark. Needless to say, we were all disappointed as well as exhausted, since it had been a long day driving from Owen Sound to Toronto, sitting around for the 9:15 p.m. flight, and then having to drive another 2-1/2 hours before finally getting home around 2:00 a.m.

Our real vacation started when the plane actually left the runway and took off for Rome on October 30.

Most definitely all of us are looking forward to the day when we can return to Italy for another adventure in the Tuscany area....an artist's paradise!

With the memories and thousands of pictures of the magnificent scenery, these Earth Artists have decided to have an art show next year at Bridges Gallery in Owen Sound reflecting our interpretation of Italy by way of canvas and photography.
Come back soon and we we will fill you in on our progress.
